You’ve had the dream of owning your business for some time; you even have an idea for your business concept. Now, we’re giving you the blueprint. Using Rhonda Abrams 6-Week Startup, which is a step-by-step guide that every entrepreneur needs for successfully launching their new venture, making money, and being successful for years to come whether you’re a retail shop, small farm or agribusiness, service professional, or niche producer. Set the Foundation is following a comprehensive program that breaks down the many tasks of launching a business into six, manageable weeks featuring in-session work groups, class instruction, and guest speakers. This class is intended specifically for the first time business owner or even the owner of an early-stage existing business looking to improve operations, target markets, and address essential aspect of growing the business, to include: • Efficiently and properly laying the foundation in preparation to launch • Getting the information they need to make the big decisions ahead of them • Connecting them to a network of resource professionals • Developing their operational strategy • Determining what it means to finance their new venture This $450 class is underwritten by Crosshatch Center for Art & Ecology and is available to individuals at a significantly reduced rate of $100 per person and facilitated by Certified Business Consultants from the Northwest Michigan Small Business Development Center in Traverse City. This class will meet from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Wednesdays - 2/13, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20.
