Biz Start 101
There is no cost to attend this training; however, pre-registration is required for access to the class.
The Biz Start 101 workshop is for aspiring entrepreneurs in the beginning stages of starting a business, in need of accessing capital, or simply considering self-employment. Assess your abilities to lead and manage a company, and evaluate market and sales potential for your products/services. This comprehensive 2.5 hour workshop incorporates the SBDC’s fundamental Writing a Business Plan workshop and fully covers topics such as determining concept feasibility, startup costs, financing options, the basics of business planning, along with other necessary resources to launch. The workshop features instruction by a SBDC Business Consultant and is a prerequisite to meeting one-on-one with SBDC. The workshop is free as the $59 cost is underwritten by the Michigan Small Business Development Center; however registration is required. Class will be held virtually using the GoToWebinar platform.
